Flat Rate Pharmacy Locums was an idea that was born when our director was working as the sole Pharmacist-In-Charge of a small pharmacy in Canberra. One day, he fell ill and was forced to search for a reasonably priced and well qualified locum to cover him for the day. After contacting other agencies he was shocked at the prices being charged and the difficulty in getting definite answers. As a result, he was forced to work the next day, with a fever and fishing for sympathy from anyone that would listen. From that day, he decided to begin making a company that would fill the void, and not take advantage of desperate pharmacies.

Gathering a group of enthusiastic pharmacists, with years of experience in the pharmacy industry, Taha and the team understand the stresses involved in finding a locum. The damage done to the reputation of the pharmacy after a a dispruptive change of pharmacist (even if it’s just for a short period of time) can in some cases force pharmacists to work while sick, or while going through emotional stress.
